Vinyl Siding - Vinyl siding is by far the most common choice of homeowners today.  An estimated 90% of the homes being sided today are done with vinyl. Vinyl siding products have improved greatly over the years. It is very important that a good quality vinyl product be placed on your home. As an investment, vinyl siding will give the most return for your money. 

Aluminum Siding - Aluminum siding is rarely used anymore. In days gone by aluminum siding was priced somewhere in the middle of steel and vinyl siding.  However, due to the rising cost of aluminum it now costs as much to apply aluminum siding as steel siding.  Many manufacturers are not selling aluminum siding anymore or have very limited color selection. It is because of these factors that steel or vinyl siding ends up being a better investment.  

Steel siding - While steel siding is extremely durable and a vast improvement over aluminum siding it can be rather costly when stacked up against vinyl siding, however if you live in a frequent storm area it may be worth the extra money. We do recommend that you look at some of the more expensive insulated vinyl products when thinking about this option.

* Use a high quality house wrap to make your home more energy efficient
* Make sure everything matches ( trim, window wraps, vent covers, etc...)
* Triple check that your home has been completely weatherproofed from the inside out.
* Check for any past leaks or rotted wood.
